Creating the Wow Factor.
The fashion word is all about bold colours at the moment and the interior collections are sure to follow suit, but be a smart shopper and calm your spirits by choosing key interior colour and pieces in neutral tones and light enhancing materials, then add hints of colour with smaller accessories and soft furnishings to complete your desired look.
By using designer neutrals as a starting point, you will creating a look that will stand the test of time, but will allow you to change your colour scheme occasionally with the least amount of effort, while creating the maximum amount of impact.
Remember to preferably use no more than 3 key colours to a room to evoke that Designer look. Use statement accessories in light enhancing materials to give your living area a spacious feel, then mix it up with soft furnishings in today's colour trends of:~ Smokey Pastel Pink; Pale Blue, Lilac and Grey; Lime Green, Cream and Chocolate Brown; Turquiose if the new teal ~ mix this with Biscuit and Cream for a fresh new look; Red and Purple hues are still in vogue; and of course classic Black and White, but add a hint of cerise, lime green or lavender to soften the look here. Mix various tones and fabric textures to create depth and warmth.
These simple, but invaluable details will give your interior a successful and beautiful designer feel.
